‘Yes girls, size DOES matter – but not just on men’: One male writer gives his blistering response to the penis size debate

A scientific study claims to have settled the age-old debate on whether penis size actually matters.

As reported by MailOnline earlier this week, research in Scotland claims that women who have frequent vaginal orgasms are more likely to credit larger penises for them.

Stuart Brody, a psychologist at the University of West Scotland, surveyed 323 women on their previous sexual encounters and whether length influenced their ability to climax.

Apparently, the women who reported the highest number of vaginal orgasms were more likely to rule that bigger was better. Brody told Live Science: ‘This might be due, in part, to greater ability of a longer penis to stimulate the entire length of the vagina, and the cervix.’

However, it’s not all so damning. Apparently, if the above is true, it only applies to some women and some orgasms, some of the time.

But it does pose bad news for the sisterhood, because if the size of the penis matters, then surely the vagina must too.  After all, friction is friction – and women’s bits vary as much as ours.

But it’s all quite funny, really. When I read yesterday’s article, I laughed out loud. Not because the study was so astonishingly one-sided, but because it reminded me of a sketch from U.S. television show Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Called Big Vagina (its contents aren’t entirely suitable for a family newspaper but it can be found on YouTube), it offers a new gesture for men to adopt in response to women’s cruel use of the ‘inch’ gesture with their thumb and forefinger.

Given society’s on-going pre-occupation with size, perhaps we should take this gesture and introduce it into popular culture – all for the sake of fairness of course. Then, we can all laugh at each other together. What fun.

But let’s not stop there. Don’t breasts need to be the perfect size, shape and pertness too, right?

Naturally, I’m being facetious, but it proves my point: this sort of mocking of the opposite gender cuts both ways.

After all, men can put a master key in a door, but if the lock’s too big then it won’t open. And that’s not our fault.

Even the Karma Sutra explains that there are three sizes of penis and three sizes of vagina; the perfect combination on which depends on personal preference. Something else which trashes yesterday’s conclusion.

So maybe Brody isn’t right. With all due respect to him, this study was anecdotal and led by a psychologist, not a medical doctor. It’s mere opinion. Hardly a robust scientific discovery.

A very good reason why we should all shrug it off. Not least because all this self-entitlement about other people’s bodies is vulgar.

That said, the size debate does need to stop. Why? Because we don’t need an answer – it wouldn’t change anything – and it’s mainly promulgated to (quite literally) belittle men. Sadly, because we’re too polite to contest it, it’s allowed to thrive.

But no more. Not only is it factually incorrect, it’s also dangerous for our young men to hear. Last month, a 17 year-old boy emailed me via my website. He’d quit his rugby team, stopped going out and refused to date girls – all because he thought his penis wasn’t ‘good enough’.

This boy (who actually had nothing to worry about, but then again none of us do… all penises are sufficient) had been conditioned to hate his body from everything he’d seen and heard over the years.

This is no longer just a matter of physiology, it’s a mental health issue too. And given that us men are more prone to depression, suicide and early death, the women who wiggle their little fingers should grow some compassion.

This includes celebrities. Because, if somebody such as Ed Sheeran stood up and mocked the opposite sex’s private parts, like Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera have, his career would be over.

Likewise, if a scientific study looked at the tautness and depth of female genitalia, it would be lambasted as obscene.

That’s probably because it would be. It might also make a lot of women feel pretty rubbish, which is what I found most disturbing about the response to yesterday’s story; so many commentators took great delight in the knowledge it would hurt many men. How sad.

We’ll call him Dick. He has the perfect penis. It’s 19 cm long and has a good 6.5 inches of girth. It’s as straight as he is. It has a plumber’s helper for a knob, and the tunica is perfectly taut when stretched. He’s circumcised (when his mom discovered the operation was covered by her insurance), and his penis belonged to her (she thought) until he reached 18 — the year after he began losing interest in sex. Men were jealous of it, women unappreciative, and Dick discovered it was a lot cheaper financially and emotionally, to masturbate. Unfortunately, Dick wanted a child, maybe two. So, one night in a bar he met another straight guy who … well, you know the end by now. They were officially married so they could adopt, never have consummated the marriage (it ain’t necessary in gay marriage, I guess) and are living happily ever after. I asked the two of them why they’d done this! The each said the word feminism at the same time. How ironic. Those fixated on boobies wind up taking orders from boobs. I didn’t delve into their sex lives — but I suspect one-night stands are good enough stand-ins for stand-ups. Oh, and the kids? Great guys who are real boys — that don’t have to take the garbage, don’t have to shovel the driveway, don’t have to fix the flashing on the roof, and do not take orders from women. A woman neighbor ordered both of them to carry her groceries into the house for her. They looked at each other, looked at her, looked at each other, looked at her groceries, looked back at her and said, in essence, Only our father gives us orders, M’am. He outranks you. He’s a Colonel.

Men built civilization; women are just spending it.

This is the world we live in that empowered women and duped wind-up doll. male puppets using the “hard wiring” excuse/lie created. With power, this is what they have done with it, among many other things inexcusably biased in favor of women—the supposedly “oppressed and discriminated, 2nd class sub-citizens”. Plenty of reason for sensible men and women to be not-so-nice about the state of the world under feminist direction.

One question. When our society changed over to this synthetic replacement plan foisted onto us all by an initial very small group of misfit feminists who misread being male— with supposed privileges…feminists blind to the fact of male sacrificial responsibilities, did snyone REALLY think things would get better, more wholesome, more happy, etc? Does feelings have more priority than facts and rationality? This should be a lesson for us all, to not tamper with the natural truth that existed before subjectivity took over. OTN, truth is not hatred, but ooooh, how it is hated!

Yep, this is the ‘hot dog in a hallway’ problem. Even a jumbo schlong won’t help in that situation.

It has been my experience, the role of the woman in the sexual experience is as important to the size than the actual physical assumed size. If the woman makes it all worth it then good results will follow, if you get the big picture,,,no pun intended.

Size only matters with sexually experienced women with multiple partners in her past. When not being sexually pure was not socially acceptable it was not really an issue. The women were not worn out and used up. They were acclimated to their man… just one man. Telling men size matters is blaming men for the lasting physical effects of women sexual liberation. Well ladies, size also matters to men. Your size. We like big breasts and tiny waists, and the more athletic the better. There is more of you than us, and the ratio is going your way more and more every year, so as far as I am concerned, it’s getting better pickings for men.

Big breasts and more athletic the better? Those two don’t often travel together. Athletic women tend to have smaller breasts. As a woman, I get tired of all the focus on breasts, as much as men probably do about penis size. It is true, even now, that men are more often the ones who make a big deal about size, whether of breasts on women or penises on their fellow men. The really important part is the brain, and it gets the least attention.

Actually, the REALLY important part is the HEART – and WOMEN gave that the least attention LONG ago.

Men’s feelings don’t count, and for good reason: weakness is and always will be a turnoff to women. Yes it can be endearing in an infantile way, but it does not make them feel lustful, and when that pitiful infant tries to sexualize his deep emotional connection, it gets creepy and rapey really fast.

Size matters. For some reason, I find overweight women repulsive, disgusting and utterly unappealing. Fat chicks are not hot. So, size matters. Of course, so does age. I don’t find women that are old and agree appealing either. Wouldn’t you agree?

Women’s feelings don’t count, and for good reason: being a bitch is and always will be a turnoff to men. Yes it can be endearing in an independent way, but it does not make them feel lustful, and when that pitiful cunt tries to sexualize her deep emotional connection, it gets creepy and rapey really fast.

      White knight pls go.

Uggh as a woman – I agree with some of you… old men are not attractive to me – neither are fat guys. To the comment about breast size,, you don’t need breasts for sex, as you are not penetrating breasts-just like I don’t care how big your biceps are. Size does matter to an extent. The average penis is about 4.5 inches which should be sufficient to most women, however anything lower than 4 or maybe 3.5 inches is too small. Considering that the average vagina is about 5-6 inches when aroused (I believe), you can see the issue here. BUT the girth also matters, I would much rather have a 4.5 inch penis with girth than 8 inches of pencil. See my point?

Last thing, it’s not all about sex.. so what if you’re too small? A man’s personality and his actions mean much more to most women than their penises. So get over it already!

PS I’m not a feminist- as a matter of fact I loathe them all.

          Yes, patronizing always works.
