The Global Victim by Tim Goldich President, NCFM Chicago Chapter An excerpt from Tim’s new book  Loving Men Respecting Women Rape of Man It is overwhelming enough to try and grasp gender reality here in our own culture without presuming to understand gender reality within foreign cultures that are alien to us. Convincing the...

NCFM at San Diego “Hope in the Park” Domestic Violence Prevention Month Event

A few years ago we picketed these events because they excluded recognition of male victims of domestic violence. We would often be booed, called women haters, and given baffled looks, if not looks of disgust and hate. But in those days we were the ones primarily concerned about ending domestic violence for everyone, not...

NCFM in the news – “Domestic violence not just a woman’s issue”

By Greg Scharf I cringed when I saw that Harry Crouch and the National Committee for Men had complained to the Del Mar Racetrack over “Ladies Day.” Harry and I have exchanged emails over the years; he’s liked my columns on domestic violence and other related issues. He put me on the NCFM mailing...

NCFM complaint helps in probable cause finding that Maine’s Assistant District Attorney Mary Kellett’s conduct should be subject to sanction!

NCFM filed a grievance against one of the State of Maine’s Assistant District Attorney, Mary Kellett. The grievance was filed primarily because NCFM and many others believed Kellett’s behavior violated the Maine Bar Rules.  We all felt that she persecuted rather than prosecuted certain people including Vladek Filler, a man falsely accused of spousal...

NCFM Chicago Chapter President and author says “It all balances out” — Value vs. Validity

My book—Loving Men, Respecting Women: The Future of Gender Politics—is all about convincing the reader that It All Balances Out—which is to say, in the benefits enjoyed and in the liabilities suffered, in the power and in the victimization, in the freedoms and in the constraints, it all balances out between Man and Woman....

NCFM Member Dr. Edward Stevens Promotes “Male Studies” to balance “WoMen StuDIEs”

There are no less than 900 WoMEN StuDIEs programs worldwide including roughly 500 in the United States of America. Another source that I cannot relocate pegged the number at over 1,400 including several programs in South Korea. Early programs were not much more than terrorist training camps for women who didn’t like men. Men...

Reproductive Rights

sperm in space

Men’s reproductive rights include issues such as false paternity claims or paternity fraud, adoption rights, abortion, rights over frozen embryos, choice for men, etc. The American Association of Blood Banks reports that, out of 300,000 DNA paternity tests performed annually, 30% exclude the man as the biological dad. Over 70% of paternity judgments in...

The American Journal of Public Health (5/03) has declared that men are in a “silent health crisis.” Almost every chronic illness affects men more often than women. Men account for 80-95% of homeless adults, job deaths and suicide deaths, are more likely than women to have mental disabilities but less likely to be treated...

Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence

NO LESS than 35% of domestic violence victims are male victims. So why do virtually all government, corporate, nonprofit, and private donation money for  domestic violence money go to women? Male victims of domestic violence have been seriously neglected in public policy, outreach and services. But they are not rare at all. They’re just...

False Accusations

False Accusations

False accusations of sexual assault are rape of a different color. Almost every month we read of another man freed from prison after years of incarceration because the false accusations that sent them to prison were proven false.  Even if there is no conviction, a false allegation of rape can emotionally, socially, and economically...

See NCFM Wayback

waybackmachineOver the years millions of people worldwide have visited a National Coalition For Men website. Also over the years the site has changed dramatically, been taken down, moved, and otherwise uprooted. In those processes much information was lost, not recovered, and does not appear on this site. However you can see earlier versions and many of the extraordinary accomplishments of NCFM back to 1996 by using the WayBackMachine. In the search box type www.ncfm.org

File a Federal Complaint

If you have specific instances of discrimination against male domestic violence victims by any government-funded DV program anywhere in the U.S., please send all evidence you have to the following federal agencies as a complaint, and state that this violates United States Code, Title 42, Section 3789d(c)(1). Give them as much evidence as you can. They are supposed to investigate it. After several months you may get a letter back saying there is "insufficient evidence" and that they need more information such as dates and times of the discrimination, names of the programs and contact info, names and contact info of witnesses, documents or records, and a detailed chronological narrative. So, re regarding evidence, the more the better. You can send the complaints by email, mail, or both. Send them to: Office of Civil Rights Office of Justice Programs U.S. Department of Justice 810 7th Street, NW Washington, DV 20531 Office of the Inspector General inspector.general@usdoj.gov oig.hotline@usdoj.gov
