A men’s rights group in Korea objects to Baek Ji Young’s demeaning ‘Good Boy’ Song. These groups are forming all over the world and it won’t stop despite the reactive ignorance in the American media.

A men’s rights association in Korea, Man of Korea, has filed an official request to seek the distribution ban of Baek Ji Young’s recently released title song, GoodBoy.

The group filed the motion against Baek Ji Young’s Good Boy on grounds the song lyrics belittled men.

A representative for Man of Korea said, “Baek Ji Young’s Good Boy contains contents about an older women domesticating a younger man. That expression, like that of a dog and its master, demeans men.”

The representative added, “The song lyrics describes the man lashing out against the woman with expressions as, ‘Barking at’ and ‘Biting its master’. In the music video they use a real dog and sets it up as handling a man like a well-trained dog.”

The representative said the expressions used were inappropriate saying, “We also believe in freedom of expression but can you say it’s the same freedom of expression [if the song’s lyrics] changed the gender point of view? Any normal and healthy male will feel serious displeasure at the song.”

The same group filed a similar motion last year in November seeking to ban the distribution of the movie You’re My Pet to the Seoul Central District Court on similar grounds. The motion was dismissed as groundless.

South-Korea is following in Japan's footsteps, if the M.R.M.'s start to grow in Asia, the coming ''Asian century'' will strengthen our M.R.M.'s.
