NCFM NOTE: J.K. Rawlings is not happy about the infamous Olympic almost fight between Angela Carini and Imane Khelif. Rawlings blamed the entire “new” men’s movement along with the smirk on its face. But we did not do it. Men in women sports is a feminist creation. A one for all, all for one sort of thing. A woman can be a man and a man can be a woman. Except it still is not Ok for a man/woman to hit a woman/woman or something like that. I am guessing if woman/woman Carini cold-cocked man/woman Khelif, Rawlings would gleefully begin work on the new series Invincible Harriet Potter.
Carl Augustsson, NCFM’s capable International Coordinator took umbrage to Railings broad-brush insult to the Men’s Rights Movement, new or not. He keyboarded the well-said email below to J.K..

Dear Ms. Rowling,
After Olympic boxer Angela Carini tearfully fell to her knees after being hit by Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who failed a gender test, it was reported that you tweeted, “Could any picture sum up our new men’s rights movement better? The smirk of a male who knows he’s protected by a misogynist sporting establishment enjoying the distress of a woman he’s just punched in the head.” True or not, please consider the following:
To be clear, whether the Carini-Khelif situation was a travesty has absolutely nothing to do with us or the Men’s Rights Movement. Nor do we condone anyone enjoying punching anyone else in the head or anywhere else.
We, the National Coalition For Men (NCFM), take no position and avoid issues not directly related to men’s rights, specifically partisan politics, religion, abortion, and homosexuality. Hence, we avoid issues related to transsexuals or intersexuals, including implications involving changing rooms and athletic competitions.
There are many issues that uniquely or disproportionately affect males, which society has either largely ignored, suppressed, or actively encouraged, for which we do take stances, like; sexist military service obligations, genital integrity for both girls AND BOYS, male victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, false accusations of domestic violence and sexual assault, men being destroyed by the family court system, paternity fraud, higher retirement ages for men, men not being allowed to express their emotions, men as stay-at-home fathers, disproportionate sentencing, and so much more.
Of all people, you should know about being treated unfairly.
Ms. Rowling, we hope this helps you better understand our organization and its involvement in the Men’s Rights Movement.
We would love to hear from you.
Since 1977, NCFM has been committed to ending harmful discrimination and stereotypes against boys, men, their families, and the women who love them. We are a gender-inclusive, nonpartisan, ethnically diverse organization that affects civil rights reform through advocacy, education, outreach, services, and litigation. Feel free to contact us.
