NCFM Sends Public Records Act Request to Mariposa County Counsel Steve Dahlem as ABC 20/20 News Video Exposing Mariposa County Corruption Suddenly Disappears from YouTube.

by NCFM

“The fight for justice against corruption is never easy. It never has been and never will be. It exacts a toll on our self, our families, our friends, and especially our children. In the end, I believe, as in my case, the price we pay is well worth holding on to our dignity.

Frank Serpico

It has recently come to the attention of NCFM that an ABC News 20/20 video expose on the corruption in Mariposa County has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from YouTube.

Coincidence?

Just as the heat is ramping up in the case of Mariposa Rancher Jerry Cox, who has had his property seized by county officials and those working at their behest based on very suspicious circumstances, the timing of the disappearance of this video also seems highly suspicious.

Steve Dahlem

As such, NCFM has sent Mariposa County Counsel Steve Dahlem a public records act request specifically asking for information of any contact with any county employee or anyone acting on their behalf and any contact with any person employed or associated with YouTube.

Well, it looks like the scrubbing of records continues in the case of Jerry Cox.  First, it was the hiding and spoliation of exculpatory cell phone evidence on the cell phone of fake rape accuser Ashley Harris, the numerous failures to disclose exculpatory evidence in the manufactured criminal case, the failure to disclose information pursuant to lawful public records, the failure to disclose to Mr. Cox’s legal team the search warrant affidavit which was used to conduct a search of his ranch for alleged building and safety code violations in violation of provisions of the California Evidence Code, and now the sudden and suspicious disappearance of the ABC News 20/20 Special that went deep into the systemic corruption in Mariposa County.

We’ll see if Mr. Dahlem produces any records pursuant to our public records request, or will it be another obfuscation and double speak as to why the records can’t be released.

So, the glaring and obvious question is; what are they trying to hide?

4th FB post “Eyes on Me.”

    Hello again:

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

This is my 4th Facebook post regarding what I’ve named “Eyes on Me.” Many of you read earlier posts and I thank you for your likes and comments. Some of you supported me in ways I can’t thank you enough for.

I continue to feel it’s necessary using social media as a gauntlet of protection and awareness of how grave this situation is and it’s knocking much harder. I owe this to all of you…, especially to my daughter.

Again, I am of sound mind and happy as a lark. My redundancy of stating this is only to assure each and every one of you that I have no plans of demise on my own accord and that if this sadly occurs, there are people that know who to contact for further investigation.

In my book Ultimate Prey, I touch upon a bit of what’s written herein. Furthermore, I have now confirmed why I’ve been targeted and by whom! I’m not trying to sell books or gain popularity. I am merely posting facts that are prevalent for reasons that support concerns of my well being.

The daily stress and struggle to live a life transitioning from regular guy to a man that’s experiencing intimidation at its fullest are things I never anticipated in my wildest imagination. Believe me when I say this has not been easy. What truly scares the shit out of me is how far to the ‘top’ it goes. I made my own path and guarantee that I never saw any of this coming. I am laying it all out there.

A couple of things you should consider when reading this:
    1. My statements are based on facts.
    2. I had a close business partner who was a GS-16 with the CIA.
    3. I have a creditable relationship with a former NSA person.
    4. Careers as a police officer, owner of a bail bonding company, bounty hunter, private investigator, and owner of a prisoner extradition company are gifts that schooled me in ways for which I’m grateful for.
    5. I was an operative with the FBI and the California Department of Justice Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement. (I have never revealed this publically or to my family.)
    6. Notable private sector investigations include the Yosemite Sightseer Murders, Chandra Levy murder, and Lacy Peterson murder.

Only paragraphs beginning with *SS are my statements, and supported via the media, court documents, and written/verified investigations and witnesses. My written responses parallel the information herein written by others. I have done my due diligence, it’s accurate with truths as are the answers.

Why I am a target? I do not guess or imply putting the puzzle together. Who are these people that have successfully brought unfathomable fear and probable grave danger into my life? I am one against them. It still feels surreal… but it’s not!

Facebook is the best platform at this time. I plan on reaching out to newspapers and political leaders I’m comfortable with. Some say, “just call the cops!” It’s not that easy!

Law enforcement at the local level is low on my meter as well as specific federal officials. I was ignored from top to bottom as I unraveled the Yosemite Sightseer Murders 20 years ago. It wasn’t until FBI Special Agent in Charge Nick Rossi contacted me 2-years later that I revealed information with regards to the case. The FBI could no longer ignore my investigation because I was doing the right thing. In a similar context that’s what I’m praying for now! I am hoping this ‘squeaky wheel’ draws enough attention that I get a meeting with an entity that can help.

Nothing has changed except for the worse. Nor have the power players with ego-driven reputations that are calling the shots, moreover making my life a living hell. Some remain in top governmental positions and have more to lose than I do. Of course, there is a price and they have my phone number.

I’m not selling out nor do I wish to dance with the Devil, so to speak! I just don’t know how much longer I can take it. Giving up or in is not what I want. I am one man that has experience swimming with these sharks on two separate occasions. And with that being said, what’s written in this document is no newsflash to them. I’m only throwing back the mud, but this time I have hundreds, if not thousands that will read this on FB. It’s the only way I see handling my situation in real-time.

“Nothing is as it appears to be.”

“Be patient, spread the word among friends, do your little bit. The system will self-destruct because it is founded on corruption and untruth.”
    -Antony Sutton

    “Keep your enemies-enemies closer.”
    -Stephen M. Sanzeri

I thank you for your support. I am very appreciative of your likes and comments. I know many are listening and most will now understand.

On a side note: If you wish to contact me and remain stealth, Do Not post publicly nor should you PM me. Text is best (415) 818-2873 or call and leave a brief message.

From the book “The Last Circle” by Cheri Seymour, aka Carol Marshall

The Last Circle (pub.1996) begins with the story of how author Cheri Seymour who was at the time working as a reporter for the Mariposa Gazette came to realize that local law enforcement figures were involved in drug trafficking. The dark, snaking trail that is described runs through our hidden history and corrupted institutions like the roiling river Styx. Cheri Seymour picks up the trail with a bizarre accident during the Queen of England’s 1983 visit to Yosemite National Park when routine scouting of the Queen’s motorcade route resulted in a head-on collision between a local Sheriff’s car and a car driven by members of the U.S. Secret Service. The accident resulted in the deaths of three Secret Service agents. The Mariposa County Sheriff’s officer, Sergeant Roderick Sinclair was found to have been under the influence of illegal drugs. Three years prior to the accident, Sinclair also had previously investigated the disappearance and presumed to drown of whistleblower deputy Ron Van Meter, a law officer who had been outraged at having discovered drug trafficking within the department. Cover-ups occurred as they typically do in such matters and Van Meter’s death was attributed to a boating accident (he had borrowed the boat to arrest fellow deputies at Lake McClure), the body was not recovered at the time of the incident. Ten years after the “accident”, his body was recovered, wrapped in a fish net and weighted down by several objects including a fire extinguisher.

With growing evidence of the collaboration of local officials and the out of control drug trade that included burgeoning methamphetamine labs and a strange connection through a subsidiary of mega-corporation MCA (the Curry Company was the largest concessions company in Yosemite National Park, hit hard by drug distribution activities at the time); concerned residents of Mariposa County mobilized and attempted to use the legal system to address the very serious problems of illegality that existed. Local groups were formed and lawsuits filed, a letter was written to then-President Ronald Reagan by the wife of attorney Ben Wagner who was to represent citizen’s group D.I.G. (Decency in Government) in District Court. In one of the more eerie passages from this very disturbing book, Ben Wagner received a response from a “Chuck” at the Reagan White House who scheduled a meeting with him, a secret meeting per White House request. Seymour writes that “However, the day after meeting with “Chuck”, Wagner unplugged his phone and walked out on his law practice and his home in Jackson California, taking nothing with him except his clothes and his wife, never to be seen again”. There are many similar stories of those who have gotten too close to the truth when investigating this intricate web of spooks, mobsters, corrupt government officials, and their activities, some have simply disappeared, others have met with strange demises, suspicious accidents and ‘suicides’, the pattern is a consistent one.

It was evident that when the body of freelance writer Danny Casolaro was found in a bathtub of bloody water on August 10, 1991, his wrists deeply slashed multiple times that it was already a highly unusual ‘suicide’. That he was in the final stages of wrapping up his investigation of an association of mobsters, government officials and rogue intelligence figures grown out of a dirty CIA “Old Boy network that he had dubbed The Octopus and that his body was discovered in a Martinsburg, West Virginia hotel room where he had gone to pick up the final piece of evidence for his story made his death all the more suspicious. The fact that his briefcase and files (always present during his work) were missing, his body prematurely and illegally embalmed prior to the notification of his family and room 517 of the Martinsburg Sheraton professionally cleaned, making any sort of law enforcement forensic investigation prohibitive are not signs that would indicate a typical suicide. Casolaro, according to sources was not despondent but rather quite elated that his investigation was nearing completion when he had made the trip to “bring back the head of the octopus” where he was reportedly set to meet a key figure and to trade information that he had in his possession. There was a ‘suicide’ note found at the scene but it was short and cryptic, not what a professional writer would likely leave as his final words. There was, however, another piece of paper that was found tucked inside of his discarded shoe that would be far more compelling. The mystery surrounding Casolaro is still to this day unsolved and largely forgotten but through the dedicated work of others who were able to pick up the trail and to continue his research into this most important of matters there have been enough pieces of a very elaborate puzzle put together, and the picture is extremely disturbing.

Seymour’s investigation led her to a retired FBI agent named Ted Gunderson, a figure who seems to often appear in some of the most sordid and scandalous investigations in recent history who in turn led her to The Octopus. On the basis of earlier material that was provided by Gunderson on the drug trade to the disappeared Wagner for use in the case against drug trafficking cops, Seymour called him and a meeting was set up at Gunderson’s home in Manhattan Beach. After the meeting, Gunderson gave the author a series of newspaper clippings and documents, many of which dealt with Danny Casolaro and his investigation of The Octopus. There was also material on Inslaw and PROMIS, Iran-Contra activities, financial scandals including the Savings and Loan crisis and defense contractor the Wackenhut Corporation. The next day Seymour received a collect call from a man named Michael Riconosciuto and he had a tale to tell. Calling from jail in Tacoma, Washington Riconosciuto provided her with the names of people who were in charge of methamphetamine operations in Mariposa and Fresno Counties. When asked who was behind the ring he revealed something much larger and more sinister than would have been imaginable:

“It’s the Company. Arms get shipped to the Contras, the Afghanistan rebels [Mujahideen], the Middle East. You know, to fight the Soviet influence. But the Contras and Mujahadeen don’t have the money to pay for the arms, so they pay with drugs, cocaine or heroin. The Company (CIA) handles the drug end of it in the U.S. …”

Cheri Seymour picked up the baton and carried it further and continued to interview Casolaro’s sources as well as to expand his scope. Her laboriously researched and now completed book entitled The Last Circle (published by Trine Day) was recently released and provides what is to date the most detailed and damning analysis of The Octopus. Seymour provides a fascinating account of events surrounding not only Casolaro’s investigation but also takes a look at the trickery and deceit of figures within the Reagan Department of Justice and the theft of the Inslaw Corporation’s highly sophisticated PROMIS software program. Described as a precursor to artificial intelligence and the highly technical computer systems of today the story of PROMIS would come to figure prominently in many of the most disturbing aspects of our current system of what is at least for the moment, a soft fascism where Big Brother style surveillance and control, financial chicanery of the highest order and the ominous contingency plans for government reactions to potential domestic unrest are ubiquitous yet they remain largely unnoticed by the average American citizen. Thanks to a cunning and relentless shadow government and a controlled media, most have no idea that they are inside of a rapidly closing trap. Seymour’s book, which is subtitled Danny Casolaro’s Investigation into The Octopus and the PROMIS Software Scandal is a must-read for those who truly have a serious understanding that something in this country has gone terribly wrong.
    __________________________________________________________________________

    1. Washington DC Journalist Daniel Casolaro was found dead in a bathtub in room 517 of the Sheraton Hotel in Martinsburg, West Virginia, his wrists slashed 10–12 times. The medical examiner ruled the death a suicide.

    2. Casolaro’s death became controversial because his notes suggested he was in Martinsburg to meet a source about a story he called “The Octopus.” This centered on a sprawling collaboration involving an international cabal.

    3. Shortly before his death, Casolaro told people that he was nearly ready to reveal a wide-ranging conspiracy involving the Inslaw case, Iran-Contra, the alleged October Surprise conspiracy, and the closure of BCCI.

    4. Inslaw’s founder, William A. Hamilton, in a previous position with the U.S. Justice Department, had helped develop a program called PROMIS, short for Prosecutor’s Management Information System. Inslaw, Inc. is an information technology firm which developed the famous PROMIS software. A bankruptcy court determined INSLAW was defrauded of its intellectual property rights. Hillary Clinton was the intellectual property lawyer for the company that illegally marketed the software worldwide. Mary Jacoby, wife of FusionGPS founder Glenn Simpson, is the daughter of a major investor in the company Hillary Clinton represented that marketed the stolen software.

    5. The BCCI scandal also. And here we had the same cast of characters. Hillary Clinton, Vince Foster, Webster Hubbell, representing Systematics selling the stolen Inslaw software.

    6. PROMIS was designed to organize the paperwork generated by law enforcement and the courts. After he left the Justice Dept, Hamilton alleged that the government had stolen PROMIS and had distributed it illegally, robbing him of millions of dollars.

    7. Congresswoman Maxine Waters was offered information relative to CIA drug trafficking but said the information was too complex and wanted the information put into a newspaper story, get it published and send it to her office.

    8. June 24, 1980, Mariposa County deputy Ron Van Meter drowned in an alleged boating accident on Lake McClure.

    9. Van Meter’s body was not recovered until ten years later, in Sept. 1990 when his torso wrapped in a fish net & weighted down by various objects, including a fire extinguisher washed ashore a few hundred yards from where Sgt. Roderick Sinclair’s houseboat had once been moored.

    10. While still in office, newly elected Mariposa County Sheriff Mattheys and his internal affairs investigators had learned the reason for Van Meter’s disappearance. A few weeks prior to his death in 1980, Van Meter had driven to the Attorney General’s office in Sacramento and reported drug dealing and other types of corruption within the Mariposa Sheriff’s Department. This, according to his friends whom he had confided in, deputies Dave Beavers, a fifteen-year veteran of the sheriff’s department, and Rod Cusic, a seventeen-year veteran. Both deputies were ultimately forced out of the department and retired on stress leave.

    11. On that same day, reserve deputy Lucky Jordan had driven to the Fresno office of the FBI to report similar information. Immediately, Jordan entered the witness protection program. According to Jordan, they had split up and reported to separate agencies in the event “something” happened to one of them. The crux of the story was California State Attorney General Van De Kamp’s response to the requested investigation by Ron Van Meter. When Ron returned home from Sacramento, he was confronted by Sheriff Paul Paige. Paige had received a call from the Attorney General informing him of the visit and its contents, and the sheriff was livid about Van Meter’s betrayal. Van Meter had been photographing and journalizing drug activity by deputies at Lake McClure. He was part of a California State Abatement Program which involved harvesting and eradicating marijuana fields in Yosemite National Park and adjacent counties. Instead, the harvested marijuana was being stored in abandoned cars and towed out of town by a local wrecker under contract with the sheriff’s department. It was also being distributed at a hidden cove at Lake McClure.

*SS In 1995, I was chasing Cliff Watkins in Mariposa County. I was contacted by Wyckoff Bail Bonds to apprehend this dangerous felon. Each time I entered the county, Watkins disappeared. After the 6th visit to Mariposa, I was charged with 2 felonies and three misdemeanors. District Attorney Christine Johnson filed the indictment and I was looking at 3 to five years in prison. That December, Cliff was arrested in Shasta County. In the presence of Ron Adams, former Angels Camp Police Chief, we interviewed Cliff. Not only did Cliff state that the Mariposa Sheriff’s office notified him each time I was in town, Cliff said he had the green light from the sheriff’s department to kill me. Cliff stated he was a “deadman” and explained his operating as the department’s main drug mule. He talked about flights to the Mariposa airport where hundreds of pounds of cocaine and heroin were delivered weekly. With meth from local labs, the drugs were hidden in coves along Lake McClure including a cave once used by the infamous bandit, Juaquin Murietta. The drugs were subsequently moved to Yosemite Park, distributed, and transported to counties en route to Los Angeles.

*SS Corrupt law enforcement and their DA needed me out of way. I avoided being murdered, so San Quenton was plan number two. After 6 months and $52,000 in attorney and investigation fees, a defense motion was granted for a new judge. At the preliminary hearing, charges were dropped; citing malicious and vindictive prosecution. Cliff Watkins died from an apparent overdose three months later.

    12. On June 24, 1980, frustrated and angry at the Attorney General for betraying him, Deputy Van Meter had borrowed a boat and was on his way to arrest the deputies at Lake McClure himself. He never returned. The investigation of Van Meter’s “accident” was initially handled by Sergeant Roderick Sinclair, who could not have known on that fateful day that in exactly three years, three months, and nineteen days, he would enter the Twilight Zone where his own private hell awaited him.

    13. Their investigation led them straight to the doorstep of MCA Corporation (Music Corporation of America), parent company to Curry Company, the largest concessionaire in Yosemite National Park.

    14. A major drug network had surfaced in the park, compelling one park ranger, Paul Berkowitz, to go before the House Interior Subcommittee on National Parks and Recreation to testify about drug distribution by Curry Company officials.

    15. Meanwhile, investigator Raymond Jenkins had followed the drug trail from Yosemite back to the Mariposa airport, where sheriff’s deputies were seen regularly loading and unloading packages from planes in the dead of night.

*SS Raymond Jenkins, aka Phineas Orb Hatton is a retired Modesto narcotics officer and my go-to guy when I was chasing Paul Candler Jr., a suspect in the Yosemite Sightseer Murders. I met with Orb and his advice was, “get a newspaper behind you if you want to survive this!” I did, and Mike Mooney of the Modesto Bee followed my investigation.

*SS Paul Candler was a hitman that attempted to kill Orb Hatton. This was because of Orb’s investigation into the murder of Deputy Van Meter. November 1998, I posted a $23,000 bail bond for Candler, not knowing of the aforementioned incident involving Orb Hatton. Tuolumne County only charged Candler for DUI and Felon in Possession of a firearm. Candler jumped bond and I apprehended him in Fultondale, Alabama, June 7, 1999. My investigation leads to Candler’s conviction for raping a 7-year-old girl. After 17 years in Tehachapi State Prison, Candler was patrolled in 2017, to Calaveras County. I believe that Candler is more than likely been retained, again, and this time his target is me. Although he was never charged in the Yosemite murders, some law enforcement officials believe Candler was involved.

16.Newly elected Mariposa Sheriff Mattheys & his internal affairs investigators had learned the reason for Van Meter’s disappearance. A few weeks prior to his death Van Meter had driven to the Attorney General’s office in Sacramento & reported drug dealing & corruption within the Mariposa Sheriff’s Department. Due to threats, Matthews resigned.

    17. Van Meter had been photographing and journalizing drug activity by deputies at Lake McClure. He was part of a California State Abatement Program which involved harvesting and eradicating marijuana fields in Yosemite National Park and adjacent counties.

    18. Instead, the harvested marijuana was being stored in abandoned cars and towed out of town by a local wrecker under contract with the sheriff’s department. It was also being distributed at a hidden cove at Lake McClure.

    19. On June 24, 1980, frustrated at the Attorney General for betraying him, Van Meter had borrowed a boat & was on his way to arrest the deputies at Lake McClure himself. He never returned. The investigation of Van Meter’s “accident” was initially handled by Sgt Roderick Sinclair.

    20. A 700-page report commissioned by the Tulare City Council was compiled by Ted Gunderson a former Los Angeles FBI agent. It was in-depth & straightforward about deputies receiving payoffs & distributing drugs in the small farm-town of Tulare.

    21. The investigation had led beyond Mariposa into MCA Corp.& various State & Federal levels of govt. Danny Casolaro’s research had started at the eastern end, in Wash. D.C., yet he had been preparing to travel to CA. for the rest of the story, before his death 3 months earlier.

    22. Michael Riconosciuto calling from the Pierce County jail in Tacoma, Washington, said he had been informed by Gunderson that Cheri Seymour was investigating a corruption/drug ring in Mariposa County.

    23. For 45 minutes Riconosciuto related the names of those in charge of methamphetamine operations in Mariposa, Madera, and Fresno counties.

    24. “It’s The Company. Arms get shipped to the Contras, the Afghanistan rebels [Mujahadeen], the Middle East.

    25. You know, to fight the Soviet influence. But the Contras and the Mujahadeen don’t have money to pay for arms, so they pay with drugs, cocaine or heroin. The Company handles the drug end of it in the U.S …”

    26. Riconosciuto quieted for a moment, gathering his thoughts. “Let’s start with Wackenhut. I didn’t play ball with Wackenhut so they poisoned the well for me.

    27. I’m in jail because I worked for Wackenhut. The government has put together a very simple drug case against me … as if that’s what I’m about, just a druggie.”

    28. Wackenhut.” “It’s a security corporation headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. Wackenhut provides security for the Nevada nuclear test site, the Alaskan pipeline, Lawrence Livermore Labs, you know, all the high-security government facilities in the U.S.

    29. On the Wackenhut board of directors, they have all the former heads of every government agency there ever was under Ronald Reagan and George Bush; FBI, CIA, NSA, Secret Service, etc.

    30. “You know, they’ve got retired Admiral Stansfield Turner, a former CIA director; Clarence Kelley, former FBI director; Frank Carlucci, former CIA deputy director; James Rowley, former Secret Service director; Admiral Bobby Ray Inman, former acting chairman of President Bush’s foreign intelligence advisory board and former CIA deputy director. Before his appointment as Reagan’s CIA director, the late William Casey was Wackenhut’s outside legal counsel …”

*SS In 1989, John Eckland, former CIA, became my partner in Sequoia Woods Country Club in Arnold, CA. Prior to retirement, John was being considered as William Casey’s replacement. In 1979, John was the recipient of the Arthur S. Flemming Award for Excellence in Government Service and the first member of the CIA to receive this recognition. I will explain later why this is significant…

    31. Michael said “Well, I served as Director of Research for the Wackenhut facility at the Cabazon Indian reservation in Indio, California. In 1983-84 I modified the PROMISE computer software to be used in law enforcement and intelligence agencies worldwide.

    32. A man named Earl Brian was spearheading a plan for worldwide use of the software, but essentially, the modified software was being pirated from the owners, Bill and Nancy Hamilton.”

    33. Michael said “I signed an affidavit for the Hamiltons stating that I had been responsible for the modification. The House Judiciary Committee on Inslaw was investigating the theft of the software and I was afraid I would be implicated since I had performed the modification. Nine days later, in an attempt to discredit my testimony, I was arrested for allegedly operating a drug lab.”

    34. “Basically, what you have is a group of politically well-connected people through Wackenhut who wanted to get juicy defense contracts when Ronald Reagan got elected president.

    35. And they did! They also preyed on high tech start-up companies, many of them out of Silicon Valley in California.

    36. “They saw technology that they wanted and they either forced the companies into bankruptcy or waited on the sidelines, like vultures, and picked them up for pennies after they were bankrupt.”

    37. Wackenhut Corporation “made inroads” into the methamphetamine operation. A man named Richard Knozzi allegedly headed major government-sanctioned meth laboratories in Fresno, Madera, and Mariposa counties.

    38. A man named Al Holbert, a former Israeli intelligence officer with U.S. citizenship, was the liaison or connection between the Knozzi operation and the U.S. government.

    39. Cheri Seymour unraveled a complicated web of illegal overseas arms shipments, espionage, CIA drug trafficking, biological warfare development, computer software theft, money laundering & corruption at the highest levels of govt.

    40. Riconosciuto had been communicating regularly with journalist Danny Casolaro prior to his death on August 10, 1991, when Danny’s nude body was found in the bathtub of room 517 of the Sheraton Hotel in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

    41. His wrists had been slashed ten or twelve times. No papers were found in his hotel room or in his car, though he was known to cart a briefcase and files everywhere he went. An X-Acto blade found in the bathtub was not sold locally and his briefcase is still missing to this day.

    42. Danny Casolaro was working on a book entitled, “Behold a Pale Horse,” which encompassed the October Surprise story, the Inslaw computer software case, the Iran/Contra affair, the B.C.C.I. scandal, and M.C.A. entertainment corporation… all overlapping and interconnecting into one network which he dubbed, “The Octopus.”

*SS With regards to remaining alive, I believe the “Angel on my shoulder” is the fact that my relationships with a CIA partner and NSA person, a few FBI guys, and CA. DOJ bosses have thankfully intervened at some level. For certain, I’m well documented in these circles and for that, I still breathe… at least for now.

    THE LAST CIRCLE
    Cheri Seymour

    Chapter 13
Sometime in mid-October, at the offices of the Mariposa Guide, I received a hurried phone call from Dave Massey, standing in the lobby outside the Washington DC offices of ABC’s “20/20” news bureau. I had asked Massey to pick up key documents at the offices of producer Don Thrasher at “20/20” who had been holding them there as a safety precaution for me. (“20/20” had aired an in-depth piece on the corruption in Mariposa County and I had developed a friendship with Thrasher at that time).

After Massey emerged from Thrasher’s office building, he’d met with John Cohen, an investigator for the House Judiciary Committee on Inslaw. They talked for a few minutes, then Cohen asked Massey if he would turn over my documents to him? Massey excused himself and hurriedly called me at my office in Mariposa. I instructed him not to hand over the documents. Most of them were my originals and I had no copies. (Thrasher had flown into California to pick the documents up, but we hadn’t had time to make copies).

However, I mentioned to Massey that he was welcome to give Cohen my telephone number if he wished. Shortly thereafter, Cohen called me at my home and we had numerous conversations during the next several weeks. It was my understanding that he was the lead investigator in the House Judiciary Committee’s three-year investigation of the Inslaw stolen software. The final Investigative Report, dated September 10, 1992, titled “The Inslaw Affair,” had already been published and I wondered why he bothered to call me.

The Vanity Fair article by Ron Rosenbaum had noted on page 98 that not long before his death, Danny Casolaro had reportedly approached a nurse he knew and asked her closely about the symptoms of multiple sclerosis and brain diseases.

Rosenbaum had asked himself what had been going on in Danny’s head as he was being whipsawed between the shadowy Riconosciuto and Nichols and their death warnings? In Danny’s notes, Rosenbaum had found references to germ warfare and slow-acting brain viruses like Mad Cow Disease which could be used against targeted individuals. Had Danny thought he’d been targeted?

A subsequent conversation with Michael Riconosciuto confirmed Rosenbaum’s suspicions. According to Riconosciuto, Danny had not only been concerned but had an obsession with the story because he suspected he’d been “hit by these people.” A source had allegedly told Danny that he, among others, had been targeted with a slow-acting virus.

*SS July 2017, I did my first interview with Ed Opperman, The Opperman Report. During the two hours, we discussed my book “Ultimate Prey,” The Yosemite Sightseer Murders and the coverups by law enforcement. Two months later, I was hired by charter Captain and owner Larry Murray of Just Dreaming Yacht, Pier-40, South Beach, San Francisco. The following year I was retained by two other yacht owners and resided on one of them. Immediately, I discovered intrusions aboard her whenever I returned from a couple of day’s leave. This was also about the time my health began to deteriorate. I lost weight, frequent diarrhea, headaches, and muscle spasms. There were also times I could not sleep for one or two days at a time. I suspected my infiltrators had compromised food and provisions. Presently, the muscle spasms continue in both upper arms. I have also lost complete vision in my right eye. As with Danny CasoIaro, I also believe I that they have already gotten to me.

*SS September 2019, I did my second interview on the Opperman Report. Not soon after, I confirmed being watched and tailed more than ever. I believe I’m targeted because of my book. Interviews with Ed Opperman definitely fueled the fire and woke up the sleeping bear. What threat am I, after all, this time? It’s one thing… repening up the Yosemite Sightseer Murders and Cary Stayner gets a new trial. That’s the threat I present, yet I have no motivation in doing so! Remember, I am the last man standing that could do this and (they) are well aware of it. The case was not handled properly and 20 years later there remain questions. With Mariposa connected all the way to the White House, Oh boy!

This case is a modern day land grab by the county of mariposa, ca. The county assigned a reveiver and authorized astronomical expenses for unneeded items such as armed guards, and inflated rates of all sorts.
The list of expenses is now up to 500.000.00 and as far as anyone cam see, the receiver, Mark Adams, has not done a thing except have his family to visit and try to force a fraudulent foreclosure. What a sham.
