Lou Ann is a long term NCFM member. She was a founding member of the California based group Coalition of Parent Support (COPS). Lou Ann’s interest lies in her passionate conviction that “the best parent is both parents.” She is a strong advocate for presumptive equal physical and legal shared parenting when children’s lives are disrupted by divorce or separation of the parents. She has been a member of the Washington, D.C. based international Children’s Rights Council (CRC) which provides low cost or free child access centers throughout the United States, and other advocacy groups promoting “the best parent is both parents.”

Lou Ann lives in San Francisco with her husband Larry. Lou Ann is a certified specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Workers’ Compensation law. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and dancing.
