On July 22, 2008, NCFM attorney Marc Angelucci argued the case of David Woods v. State of California before the Third District Court of Appeal in California. The 3-judge panel (pictured below) appeared very much in agreement that excluding male victims of domestic violence from state-funded domestic violence provisions (CA Health & Safety Code Section 124250), and that excluding inmate fathers from state-run inmate parenting programs, violates men’s Constitutional right to equal protection.
