In April 2010, the National Coalition For Men worked with advocates in New Hampshire to oppose to elimination of the New Hampshire Commission on the Status of Men, which is the only official commission for men in the United States. The State of New Hampshire is considering eliminating both the Commission on the Status of Men (which is not publicly funded) and the Commission on the Status of Women (which is publicly funded). NCFM’s advocacy included telephone calls to state legislators and sending an April 10, 2010 letter to New Hampshire’s Speaker of the House, available at
