The above letter was faxed to 396 members in the House of Representatives and 96 U.S. Senators. For various reasons beyond our control 160 of the 492 faxes sent did not reach the intended recipients.

We’ve heard that Speaker of the House John Boehner (R) has been persuaded to soon introduce for a vote his House re authorization version of the VAWA. Our sources tell us that Representative Boehner seems to have acquiesced to Senator Patrick Leahy’s legislation which recently passed the Senate with only 22 dissenting votes. Meaning, Boehner, like Leahy, either doesn’t have a clue about the domestic violence industry, think that women never ever abuse anyone especially men (laughable on its face), or they’ve sold out to special interests and/or been cowed by radical feminist pressure (or all of those reasons).

Whatever the case it appears Americans will again be reamed while those who claim to be reducing intimate partner violence and sexual assault hold the American public bent over gagged while politician’s line up for a good ol’gang bang. It appears the leaders of the pack think a women’s place is bare foot in the kitchen with baby in the basket. They apparently believe women are incapable of taking care of or thinking for themselves. Were I a woman I would be horrendously offended by those who voted for the Senate version of VAWA’s re authorization.

I truly believe most of those who voted for the Senate version of VAWA have little or no understanding of intimate partner violence or the programs that supposedly reduce it. If they did, and if they were really concerned about their constituents, they would have strenuously opposed it as written; and demanded reforms.

You can phone or fax Representative Boehner. Please do. Let him know that you oppose any House VAWA re authorization legislation that basically replicates the Senate version. Let him know that VAWA needs to be substantially reformed or stopped. Be assertive buy polite.

There were 22 courageous Senators who voted against Leahy’s horrific bill, which is corrupt, wasteful, gender biased, and allocates hundreds of millions of dollars each year for programs which arguably cause more harm than good. The names of those courageous Senators are listed below. If you have not already done so please contact their office and thank them. In fact, please email, fax, or snail-mail them a copy  of the letter above with a personal note. They are under extraordinary pressure. Well paid Domestic Violence Industry operatives have surely threatened to make work hard against their re election.
