For men’s sakes, ditch VAWA

ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Joe appears not to have looked in the mirror lately (“Joe Biden blames ‘white man’s culture’ for sexual assaults: ‘It’s got to change,’” Web, March 26). For the former vice president’s words to ring true, there would have to be zero rapes by black men, zero rapes by Asian men and zero rapes by the Central American and Mexican men involved in the currently massive migration across our southern border. All available evidence to the contrary, causes Mr. Biden’s words to ring false.
The root of this intellectual rot, for both Mr. Biden and the Democratic Party, is their “True Believer” adherence to feminist/progressive “intersectionality” ideology, which places straight white men at the bottom of the hierarchy and holds them responsible for all things bad. The only way to correct the dominance of this false ideology in American politics is for men — and women who love men, arguably a diminishing percentage of the electorate — to get active in politics and to vote.
In 1990 [then] Sen. Biden introduced the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) based on false presumptions and false data. VAWA is scheduled for reauthorization in the House of Representatives in April. Since it denies due process for males and fails to provide protections for the historically and currently high levels of sexual violence directed toward boys, men and fathers, it must be sunsetted.
I encourage all men and all women who love men to contact their representatives and ask them to sunset VAWA in 2019.

Didn’t US v. Lopez declare VAWA unconstitutional? I know nobody in congress pays attention the constitution, but for crying out loud, doesn’t somebody over there remember that??
It would be great to have a campaign to get men to vote in their own interest, just as feminists do for women. Imagine if, say, the republicans reached-out to men and all those who love men to fight for mens basic human rights for presumption of innocence and due process of law(re. the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings) vs “believe her” mentality” and for the promulgation of actual facts about who is violent (50/50 mix men/women), health care, “The Red Pill” documentary, etc: I would think men would come out of the woodwork.
