NCFM NOTE: Vladek Filler is a true American hero. He immigrated to American believing in our advertised freedoms and rights like due process, innocent until proven guilty and the rule of law. He found it, but it took over 12 years defending himself against false accusations, prosecutorial misconduct and a legal system corrupted by misandry. He fought them all. And won. Yet, those involved, the police officers and prosecutors who committed a multitude of criminal acts are all still employed. Some have even been promoted. His journey is not over. His courage drew the attention of many, including state legislators in Maine. He was asked to submit testimony regarding “An Act To Amend the Laws Governing Post-conviction Review in Order To Facilitate the Fair Herring of All Evidence in Each Case Involving a Claim of Innocence.”
We, NCFM, played a small part in Vladek’s saga by submitting a companion complaint, to his complaint, against a corrupt prosecutor with the Board of Overseers of the Bar and befriending him throughout his horrific, tortuous and debilitating journey through his judicial nightmare. His courage, determination and steadfast belief in his rights carried him bruised, battered and beaten to victory. We are truly proud to call Vladek our friend. Below is the link to his written testimony, the latter of which should be mandatory reading for all Americans. Thank you Vladek for all you do for our future. Harry Crouch, President, NCFM.
