NCFM Letter to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth about Wrongful Allegations

October 16, 2025
By

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is recognized nationally as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to reflect on the impact of domestic violence and renew commitments to justice and support for all affected. In this context, the National Coalition for Men (NCFM) highlights the urgent need for fairness and integrity in the handling of domestic violence, sexual harassment, and sexual assault allegations within the Armed Forces. While supporting victims and holding perpetrators accountable is essential, NCFM draws attention to the significant harm caused by false allegations—wrongful convictions, administrative discharges, and lasting personal and professional consequences for service members.

NCFM welcomes recent policy changes that introduce credibility assessments and accountability for false claims, but urges further reforms. These include the creation of a Conviction Integrity and Accountability Unit, improved oversight of military prosecutors and law enforcement, and greater transparency in promotion decisions. As we observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month, NCFM calls for balanced policies that protect victims, safeguard the rights of the accused, and ensure justice for all members of the military community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the NCFM members and advisers who have worked tirelessly to address these critical issues and help wrongly accused men and women in uniform, including drafting the following letter to Secretary Hegseth at the Department of War.

Harry Crouch, President/Chairman of the Board

One Response to NCFM Letter to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth about Wrongful Allegations

I am in desperate need of assistance in a case that involves discrimination, deprivation of rights under the color of law, criminal enterprise, prosecution as a defense, and much more. The short story is, that I was beat and arrested for attempting to walk to the hospital at 2:00 a.m., after the cops ignored my 911 calls for 9 hours. My only charges were two PC 69 felony resistance, and one pc148 misdemeanor. The district attorney used prosecution as a defense to protect the police from being held accountable. I did file a tort claim within the 6 months., and I also filed a federal civil suit within the two years statute of limitations. I am seeking any kind of help in this matter. Thank you for your time and diligence, and I hope to hear from you soon.
