KFC slaps men to sell chickens! Pathetic.

August 2, 2013
By

KFC uses stereotypical slapstick advertising to sell spicy chicken.

But all this KFC advertising does is promote violence, violence against men.

Considering the world we live in it is hard to understand how a huge conglomerate like Yum! Brands, owner of KFC, fell prey to such immature and archaic marketing. Click on the picture to watch the video. It is showing at www.KFC.com too! We guess KFC is proud of it, though it probably makes their chickens blush with shame. Below the picture is a copy of the letter was sent them asking them to stop the ads. We’re asking you to go to their website and ask them the same. We’re also asking the you stop buying KFC until they stop running the ad campaign. You can sign an online petition to have KFC change their ads here: http://www.change.org/petitions/kentucky-fried-chicken-stop-making-light-of-domestic-violence .

KFC, I would now onwards goto every place to eat food EXCEPT KFC. As it is, KFC in India keeps making news about the quality of food …….. now this, have additional reasons for Media to pick up a story.

You have shown Men as worst then chicken coz I dont remember seeing ANY KFC Ad where is chicken is hit (Even though you kill them).

Shame on the Media Agency which came up with this concept and a bigger shame to KFC as a company who are ready to sacrifice 50% of the their customer base, which is MALE.

FROM TODAY ONWARDS I WILL NEVER TOUCH ANY KFC PRODUCT…..ITS A SHAME THAT A COMPANY LIKE KFC HAS TO COME UP WITH SUCH DEMEANING AD WHICH ONLY PROMOTES VIOLENCE

KFC and anything affiliated with it have just lost me and my family for customers.

No KIA or KFC for me either – and it’s great saving my money!

The woman’s response to the man kindly offering to share his food was likened to a woman’s response in a sexual assault. In one respect it is a nod to the acceptance that many false allegations are merely innocent kindnesses from men and some are targeting men for other agendas (ideology or profiteering such as the $35,000+ Victims assistance funds women can keep even if they later recant or the allegation proven false). Kobe Bryant and the Duke Lacrosse Players are the prime examples of that very misuse of those funds on a national basis.

The KFC ad is abusively misandrist. To use the Gloria Steinem test would it be as funny with the roles reversed and the man slugging the woman? Of course it wouldn’t.

Until that ad and all sexist ads like it are pulled, your restaurants will not be where I stop and eat. Besides, I buy a lot of Chick-Filet for the stand against the type of liberal extortion that you seem to have bought into.

If you have ever been viciously assaulted by a woman; did not defend yourself because of the female privilege of a man’s protection, then jailed when you were the one with scratches and bruises, you would not find this funny, either.

There is a lot of true human humor without having to further the disenfranchisement of one gender over another.

Four of the six people listed are females and seem pretty high up in the company. Given what is taught in colleges is it any wonder these women think they can get away with this and that it is humor? Also remember what the women of KFC portrayed the male as in symbolic terms and wonder how many more females view men in such a way.

I take my money elsewhere whenever this happens. Hit ’em hard in the pocketbook. That’s what I say.

http://klaceyscastle.wix.com/klaceyscastle I believe that any use of domestic violence to sell anything is totally unacceptable, but, especially, one that depicts a woman hitting a man when, for the most part, the reverse is often a truer portrayal of what domestic violence really is.

      Dearest Klacey,

We were right there with you until we got to the “for the most part, the reverse is often a truer portrayal of what domestic violence really is”. Yup, except, to be very and perfectly clear, most intimate partner violence has repeatedly, regularly, for years, over and over, been shown by reputable research and major mega studies, to be mutual, the rest was thought to be roughly even between men and women until recent scientific, not advocacy, research shows that it is women, NOT men, who instigate and perpetrate the majority or the remaining intimate partner violence… just so you know… Oh, if you don’t believe if search our website for the data; it’s all here…regardless, welcome. Thank you for your comment. You can become an NCFM member by clicking on the join picture in the upper left hand portion of this page…

Just the usual insensitivity to men. So I posted on their web site (as a FaFNY Board Member) and to post I just picked a restaurant at random in my area. jh.

Could not leave a comment via their website, as the customer satisfaction survey wants me to mention specific KFC locations.
So I wrote to John Cywinski at th egiven email.

Thank you. Hopefully Mr. Cywinski gets many such letters.

Literal “male-bashing.” Gratifying to see that posters on You Tube don’t think it’s funny. But we still live in world that revels in anti-male sentiments like this.
