NCFM International Coordinator Carl Augustsson presents $10,000 check to Eric Clopper, Esq., Founder, President and Executive Director of Intact Global.

NCFM International Coordinator Carl Augustsson participated in the 2025 Intact Global Conference, joining advocates and legal experts for the historic launch of a groundbreaking circumcision lawsuit. The event, held in Portland, Oregon, marked a pivotal moment in the movement to end forced, non-religious genital cutting, as leaders unveiled a constitutional challenge against existing laws that fail to protect all children equally.

Eric Clopper, Esq., is spearheading the national movement to ban male circumcision. The lawsuit challenges Oregon’s failure to prohibit male circumcision, despite its existing ban on female genital mutilation (FGM), a restriction upheld by 41 other U.S. states. Currently, no state explicitly outlaws male circumcision.

For years, NCFM, Carl Augustsson, and NCFM Liaisons have been actively working to prevent forced circumcision, including in Africa, particularly in Kenya and Ethiopia. Their dedication to this cause has led to significant advocacy efforts. In support of this mission, NCFM contributed $10,000 to Intact Global, aiding the Intact Global Oregon lawsuit and the broader campaign to end male circumcision in the United States and elsewhere.

You can watch the conference press conference and read the Oregon lawsuit below. I encourage you to visit their comprehensive website at www.intactglobal.org.
