Grand Slam tennis still operates under a double standard: men must battle through best‑of‑five sets while women play the junior‑level best‑of‑three — yet both receive equal prize money. This long‑standing imbalance has gone unchallenged by tennis leadership, commentators, and the WTA. If equality is the goal, then equal pay must require equal play.
