By Christopher Walsh, reporter Calgary Beacon, July  29, 2011 Twenty years ago, a man named Earl was sitting alone in a mobile home, the oven door open, two propane tanks set on either side, when the phone rang. He wasn’t expecting the call, it just sort of came out of...

NCFM Chicago Chapter President and author says “It all balances out” — Value vs. Validity

My book—Loving Men, Respecting Women: The Future of Gender Politics—is all about convincing the reader that It All Balances Out—which is to say, in the benefits enjoyed and in the liabilities suffered, in the power and in the victimization, in the freedoms and in the constraints, it all balances out between Man and Woman....

To the women of NOW – a rant

By Steven DeLuca Excuse my grammar and spelling. I grew up in housing projects, violent and poorly educated family. I spend summers as a child working in bean and berry fields and like many males from lower-class homes I never caught up with Spelling, grammar and punctuation. That doesn’t make me stupid although I...

U.S. Supreme Court Rules Fathers are Inferior

In an unbelievable decision the U.S. Supreme Court’s 4-4 vote yesterday denied a San Diego man’s rightful claim that men are treated disparately due to a gender-based standard in immigration law. The tie vote affirmed a 9th U.S. Court of Appeals judgment that the immigration law’s higher standard for determining citizenship for the children...

WHEN THE LUNATICS RUN THE ASYLUM

By George Rolf Those of us who have been around the men’s movement for a while can imagine how the conversation went. The desperate father knowing that this may be the last time he ever sees his children again. Negotiating and trying to keep the whole contact thing between her and him. Not wanting...

The Conservative Case in Favor of San Francisco’s Proposed Ban on Male Circumcision

NOTE: It needs to be emphasized that NCFM is non partisan. We have members from all political spectrum’s and take great care not to slant things in any particular political direction. However, recently conservative pundits have joined the pro circumcision crowd voicing objection to pending legislation in San Francisco which would...

Barking Mad or Clever as a Fox? The Vladek Filler Re-trial

By Jan Brown I try to keep my writing devoid of my sarcastic wit; however, at times it’s difficult to hold back especially when dealing with stressful events that make you feel like you are in the Twilight Zone.  Last week I attended the State v. Filler criminal re-trial in Ellsworth, Maine to lend my...

NCFM Liaison Pursues Establishing NCFM Chapter in Sweden

Carl Augustsson is NCFM’s Liaison in the Democratic Republic of Georgia where he is trying to get the government to designate a day of celebration for men. There are two such days for women. After writing Sexköpslagen Carl learned that a member of the Swedish Parliament spoke against the legislation which punishes only those...

Stop Women’s Violence

When will the domestic violence industry recognize women who batter men?  According to the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services http://tinyurl.com/62rora and Bureau of Justice statistics, more kids are killed by neglect and abuse in a year (1,460 in 2005), than all the female intimate partner homicides in a year (1,181 in 2005)....

Federal inmate vs. dad in jail NOTE from NCFM: Interestingly the Internet version leaves out information about the judge found in the article below. She, the judge, gives this almost beaten to death man two whole days to report to an employment agency after being released from the hospital. To subject parents in arrears...

Sexköpslagen

By Carl Augustsson NCFM Liaison, Democratic Republic of Georgia I wish to strongly emphasize from the outset that this article is purely about adult prostitution.  Nothing written here is to imply any support whatsoever for child prostitution. In 1998, Sweden passed a law called “sexköpslagen”, which roughly translates to “law on the buying of...

The Ideologically Impaired are True Believers, They Hate Reason, In San Diego and Maybe Even the Democratic Republic of Georgia

By Carl Augustsson   With June approaching Fathers’ Day is on my mind, a day that should be about celebrating all good Dads rather than a day used to promote radical feminist propaganda as done over the last decade. There are some countries that have no official day to celebrate anything to do with...

More College Women Graduates than Men Graduates, Old News Treated by Media like Discovering a Playboy Mansion on the Moon.

In “New first for women in college” she wrote that women now dominate in under graduate and advanced degrees and then added that women are only earning 78.2 percent of what men earn. Homeless, on the rise, where’s the commissions on men’s health?

Homeless veterans on the rise in San Diego and I suspect everywhere else too. There’s a worthwhile read about homeless vets in the San Diego Union Tribune. Then there are pictures like these of homeless men in Los Angeles  taken by a men’s activist and veteran in 2006, though they may as well have...

See NCFM Wayback

waybackmachineOver the years millions of people worldwide have visited a National Coalition For Men website. Also over the years the site has changed dramatically, been taken down, moved, and otherwise uprooted. In those processes much information was lost, not recovered, and does not appear on this site. However you can see earlier versions and many of the extraordinary accomplishments of NCFM back to 1996 by using the WayBackMachine. In the search box type www.ncfm.org

File a Federal Complaint

If you have specific instances of discrimination against male domestic violence victims by any government-funded DV program anywhere in the U.S., please send all evidence you have to the following federal agencies as a complaint, and state that this violates United States Code, Title 42, Section 3789d(c)(1). Give them as much evidence as you can. They are supposed to investigate it. After several months you may get a letter back saying there is "insufficient evidence" and that they need more information such as dates and times of the discrimination, names of the programs and contact info, names and contact info of witnesses, documents or records, and a detailed chronological narrative. So, re regarding evidence, the more the better. You can send the complaints by email, mail, or both. Send them to: Office of Civil Rights Office of Justice Programs U.S. Department of Justice 810 7th Street, NW Washington, DV 20531 Office of the Inspector General inspector.general@usdoj.gov oig.hotline@usdoj.gov
